Native Future In the memory of Gwen Schwartz, The Womanifest Destiny Project works to enable high school students from Mount Desert Island through a scholarship awarded to a graduating senior who has written an essay demonstrating an authentic passion and rigorous work ethic towards whatever might inspire him or her.  We also host community events, like The Body Acoustic, an art show in the spring of 2012 showcasing work from various levels of Mount Desert Island artists.

Worthy Ngabe Bugle and Wounaan students receive stipends to help with tuition, boarding, and transportation expenses.
